managed to get half a day off parenting duties thanks to the parents looking after Atty, yay!
this year's Valentine's Day was just a simple lunch out. we tried out Sushi Bar Genki in the city. i finally ate sashimi after so long! yum! craving satisfied! the food is not bad there, quite fresh.
after lunch we went to pick up a bunch of secondhand size 0 clothes for Atty that I found off Gumtree. i figured that once she starts experimenting with solids she will probably get lots of her clothes dirty and it's a little wasted to get her new clothes dirty so decided to get a bunch of secondhand clothes that won't cause heartache when it gets dirty. the bundle of clothes was $18 for 30 pieces of clothing... quite a good bargain!
we ended up doing grocery shopping and chanced upon Costco restocking Bellamy's Stage 1 formula that Atty drinks so we got a bunch of those. also bought baby cereal to start off Atty on, and some cute bibs for her (it had bunny prints on it and i couldn't resist buying them haha).
a very domesticated Valentine's Day celebration, haha.
